8 years ago Adam told Freddy it was over and Freddy never looked back. Now Adam has nothing and is living in an RV and Freddy is a highly skilled chef with a restaurant in NYC and a show on the Food Network. When Freddy shows up in Adam's small town, will they let their pride get in the way again?
I love a second chance story and I love the basis of Persuasion. This covered it so well for me and it was a simple, sweet story that was just perfect. I loved the character of Adam. He was so devoted and eager and knew what he wanted. Freddy seemed to settle down in his life as the years progressed and became successful and happy. This was a really fun, quick and easy read.
