Prince of Killers by Layla Reyne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
4.5 Stars
Okay, WOW. What I was expecting and what I got were not the same thing, but in a very, very good way.
Layla Reyne is not a new author to me, so I should have known. This is so twisty and deep and full of suspense. It's gripping and bold and fun and sexy. BUT... yeah, the dreaded but... we are left with a cliffhanger of epic proportions. Yes, the next book is coming, but I neeeeeed it now!
Hawes Madigan basically runs the mob in San Francisco. He's got someone on the inside that wants him out and someone on the outside that wants in. He trusts his family, but he no longer trusts himself. And it's sooooo worth the read.
I don't want to say more and give any spoilers, so I'll just say, please read this. Get as caught up in the shock and suspense as I did so that we can angst over our wait for the rest of the series. Because it's bound to be amazing.
