My Fair BradyMy Fair Brady by K.C. Wells
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A delightful story with a bit of an office romance and a bit of an age gap and some slow burn.

Jordan Wolf has made a name for himself in the accounting world. He's the head of his own business, but he's never had time for a personal life. According to his doctor, he needs to spend less time at work and more time relaxing. But when his assistant, Brady, calls in sick for the first time in 3 years, he starts realizing how much Brady actually does for him. And how much he can't live without him.

It was very sweet how this started off. I loved how slowly everything happened at first. From Jordan checking up on his sick assistant, to hearing a friend say he wasn't attractive and getting prickly over the remark. Each time he saw Brady it was with a new layer of film peeled off. That part was written so well and had me aching for more.

I loved the first 3/4 of the story. Written in dual POV I really got a taste for the easy flow and repartee between the characters and I was never guessing what was happening.

I felt like the last section of the story was rushed. Very rushed. Everything happened at once and everything completely changed in a day. It just didn't feel real to me. Especially with how Brady had reacted to Jordan spending money on him from the start.

I did thoroughly enjoy this very sweet story with a definite HEA and two blissfully in love characters.
