Sex, Lies, And Headlines: A Second Chance Romance by Peter Styles
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I was given this arc by the author/publisher via BookSprout in exchange for an honest review.
When Simon meets Luke in a bar, the connection is strong and grows stronger by the hour. But when Luke leaves a fake phone number in the morning, Simon tries to forget what he felt. Six years later, they meet again at a San Diego Comicon where Luke is famous and Simon has a secret.
I thought this story was okay. I was hoping for more, I guess. It bothered me that Simon didn't have enough spine to tell the truth about his name on the first night, but I suppose there wouldn't have been much of a story. I liked Luke's character. I felt like he was true to himself, but I found the ending lacking something. It was an entertaining read and I enjoyed it.
